Charles Ardai has used his real name (rather than his Richard Aleas pseudonym) to write his amusing quasi-history of his epic Hard Case Crime, which is dedicated to preserving the art and soul of pulp fiction, in the form of a jaunty pulp mystery, FIFTY-TO ONE.
